my good friend, Jessica, got married today!!! (we were roommates my freshman year of college)

-also, it was Jim Day at Red Robin. which means if your name is jim or a derivative or jim/james you got a free "Jim Burger" that day. so Jami and I got free hamburgers!

Avas 6!!!

for Avas birthday we headed to the Zoo. It happened to be "Boo at the Zoo" so it was super busy but we had lots of fun and got free candy. Ava was the Black Cat, Brennan was the Blue Bird, Kaelyn was a Zebra, and Avas friend was someone from the muppets. 

 

-Avas cake had trick candles 

-Kaelyn likes to climb under her saucer to find cheerios and then gets stuck.

Raylies 1st Sleepover

Raylie had her 1st sleepover away from her mommy tonight.

we had lots of fun. we went to airborne to jump around, got a happy meal, invited cousins over to play, ate cookies, and watched a movie, then i got to sleep next to lovey raylie! thanks for coming to play with me. i sure love Raylie Ann!!!

RoadTrip day 3

 

on the way home we hit Ayers Natural bridge, Independence rock (we walked around the whole thing),  and we stopped by Devils Gate and Martins Cove visitor center but didn't have time to go to the actually sit. Lastly, we drove by a Hardees- i didn't even know those still existed. it was a fun quick last minute- can't wait for another road trip!

RoadTrip day 2

Mount Rushmore was the first stop of the day. its a lot smaller than you think it would be.

 then we took a tour of some caves and afterwards hit Crazy Horse Monument (which i never even heard of before this trip). crazy horse isn't even close to being completed. its being built all off donations, they have been offered gov money but they won't accept it. this is being built bc they want people to know that American Indians have heroes as well. crazy horse is also so much bigger than mt rushmore. 

 

we finally made it back to our tiny town where we found a military cemetery and a Mammoth!!!

RoadTrip day 1

 

Jami and i went on last minute road trip over Labor Day Weekend. we left friday afternoon and made it to Cody, WY for the evening. we made a quick detour so Jami could visit Montana. then we hit Devils Tower and the 1st time for both of us in South Dakota where we went to Everwood. we got a hotel in Hot Springs,SD for 2 days which was not the best idea bc it was a bit out of the way and a very tiny town but we survived. 

 

-Aug 12th: Boating and treat night for Jamis birthday.
(look at all the yummy treats i made)

-Aug 18th: fun with A & B and bowling with friends


Aug 24th: we were supposed to go camping but the camp sights were full so we came back and cooked our foil dinners in the over

June

-Mandy turned 25! We went out to Olive Garden and they put a candle on top of the mints they give you. We thought it was pretty hilarious.

-Our good friend Jason from Sophomore year got married so Jami and I headed up to Logan for the reception.

-My roommate Leoh from freshman year had a baby back in December and her family is moving to Texas. So I got with Jess and we headed up to Pocatello to visit with her, her husband, Conrad, and her cute little boy, Kerigan. It was so fun visiting with them!

I had been waiting for the past week or so for Erin to go into labor bc i was one they were going to call to pick up A and B. Today i was down since i was headed to California in the early evening and wouldn't be able to help babysit or meet the new baby until i got back. however, things worked out great. i got a call from my brother around 1:30 that the baby was coming. i ran out of work and picked up the kids. I watched A and B for maybe 2 hours then we went to meet the beautiful Kailyn Paige! i was there for half an hour then i headed to the airport. while on the plane i couldnt stop thinking about what a great day it was- i was able to watch A and B, meet the new baby, and now i was headed to see D, T, and R (as well as Britni and Brian) for a few days in disneyland!
