Shauna got home from her mission a week after Mandy did in March and neither Mandy or i had met up her yet. we made a quick trip up to Logan to play with Shauna and decided to invite some friends. we certainly missed the ones that couldn't make it. it was such a blast being able to be all together. it felt like nothing had changed and that it hadn't been 18 months since we had all been together. i sure loved my sophomore year of college with them!

my last day at work in Ogden ended up being more of a good-bye party instead of a staff meeting. 2 of my co-workers showed up earlier and hand made Navajo tacos, someone brought cupcakes, and even a Tongan smoothie. delicious! i also brought treats not knowing they were planning this. so we had TONS of yummy food. one co-worker made a card and got everyone to sign it. what a thoughtful bunch! i sure have enjoyed working with these ladies and i sure will miss them. thanks so much everyone!!!

i'm otta here...

I'm moving to my 4th city and 3rd job since my college graduation a year ago. I still can't believe it's been a year- it certainly has gone by fast. So after living and working in Ogden for the last 8 months- it's time for me to say my goodbyes and head to the good ol' Salt Lake!!! It is a bitter-sweet farewell.

i decided to get a head start so i have spent the day organizing and packing. not the most fun way to spend your day off. but here i am 3 years ago, today, enjoying the day with friends.

we had callies baby shower today. it turned out wonderful- yummy food (esp our flower cake pops!), cute kidos, awesome guests, fun gifts, and afghan made by my mom. ava was so good at helping callie with the gifts. but halfway through she started to think they were for her baby. she started crying and saying, "callie took my special present for my baby."
