Balthazar!

hey... so mandy has a blog as well. check hers out on my family list. she has more info and different pictures- only if you want to hear more about our trip.

Jessica hooked us up big time... someone she works for made a reservation at this expensive fancy restaurant and paid for us to go. pretty generous of them.
the food was really yummy even though we all felt extremely out of place.
this is me with my 15 dollar macaroni
and our dessert for 8 dollars
some awesome chairs we came upon while cruzing the streets

stars!!!

on our first and second days here we saw famous people... we were quite fortunate individuals.
at wicked The Jonas Brothers were there. the oldest one was sitting a few rows back and then we saw the other two afterwards.

it was all because of mandy that we spotted them. i had no idea who they were.

we had gotten back from chinatown and my parents told us they had saw Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner, and their daughter Violet at the pizza place a couple blocks from their apartment. at first i thought they were joking. we all then headed back out to investigate.
-the pictures arent the best but they work.

you can see jen sitting down with glasses

they were out with the fam so we and most others didnt ask for pictures. but these girls were brave- jen declined but ben agreed for a quick pic.

you can see Violet
we actually sat 6 inches away from them in the restaurant. violet started talking to us and then jen piped in as well. violet really is super cute and we all loved her dimples. they were a cute family and really nice.

i still cant believe we saw them- its unreal.

little italy and chinatown

no point to ever fly across the ocean. i found italy right here in New York

wo hop... is known to be the best place to eat in chinatown. and as a matter of fact is was delicious.
we all thought this sign was quite interesting because everyone here honks like crazy. however, the sign doesnt help at all. i think its just there for people to laugh at.

flight and 1st day in NYC

i had the lucky chance to fly out to new york city from the 25-4 to visit my MOM. i went with my friend mandy and cousin jessica.

dont worry- this denver airport bathroom is also a tornado shelter... pretty sweet.

waiting to see if we won wicked lottery tickets.

jess and i in time square

my mommy and i on the subway

our flight left late on the 25th so we didnt show up in NY until the 26th and we were dead tired. we all took our first taxi cab ride to get to my parents apartment.

after we all relaxed for a bit we ran down and put our names in the wicked lottery but no luck. however we went back later that night and my moms name was chosen. we got 2 tickets for 26 bucks in the front row- mandy and i attended.

Tie Date

these are the sweet sugar cookies i made with my sweet 100 cookie cutter set.

brad, me, nolan, and whitney
emily and chad
the gangsters.... they did a dance for us to a hip-hop song. it was fabulous
a tie date is when you pick a boys tie (you dont know whos it is at first), once you are told who it belongs to- through out the week you do three nice things for that person w/out them knowing who you are, they then take you out.
we all went to village inn and then bowling. it was a blast.
